For those of you in the Monadnock Region, I will be giving a talk, sponsored by the Peterborough Garden Club, called The Four Season Garden on Monday, November 14 at 10 am at the Peterborough Historical Society. The presentation is free to the public and all are welcome.
Okay, the pinks and lilacs are fine, but I don't want to see any more snow for another month, please.

Me too, Nellie, me too!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd have never thought I'd like pink and blue, but that early spring photo knocks my socks off. Good luck with the talk.
ReplyDeleteWonderful house!

Thanks, James. That blue is one of the colors that works well with almost anything.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sigrun. It is very typical of the local vernacular. They call it a villager. It was built in 1895. It is situated on the land beautifully and makes great use of both light and air circulation. I like to say it has good New England Feng Shui
Great photos, Michael! Looking forward to your talk Monday morning!-- Joe
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joe. You can help me with the plant names if I have a brain lapse!
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn colours in your garden! What kind of maple is that?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Petra. The tree is Acer griseum x Gingerbread. It is a cross of the nikko maple and the paperbark maple. I have done a couple posts about it if you want more information.
