HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY 2011

Pedestals and Table on the Terrace

The Lower Garden

I woke up to these scenes this morning. Expecting snow all day. Happy April Fool's Day!!!
Lovely for December. Sad for April.

  1. Similar situation here - our local weather guy says April may continue this colder weather pattern for a while - at least you have lovely bones highlighted by the snow.

    James,
I am very jealous, indeed. I will be blogging about my hellebores about the time your peonies are in bloom!! Great to hear from you. Thanks.

I appreciate your commiseration. Happily, the snow has almost entirely melted. Thanks for commenting.

Seems like the joke just keeps going and going! Worked a full day at the nursery and went out for dinner only to emerge from the restaurant to a blanket of white on the ground.... with thunder! I am afraid of commenting further of fear of risking something even worse tomorrow - even though they are calling for near sixty degree weather!

  8. Barry,
Snow and thunder is a scary combo!! Maybe a rainbow will accompany the warm weather tomorrow. Great hearing from you. Looking forward to the plants you will be profiling this spring on your blog.
