Teixeira Park in Early August

  1. Ah, the change has begun. I saw Hemerocallis 'Stafford' used a lot in England. I see Autumn Minaret. What are the lower Hemerocallis? I like it, Michael.

    1. 'Autumn Minaret' is the only daylily blooming at Teixeira Park right now, James. Are you asking about 'August Flame' in the Boccelli post? BTW, we are letting the grass grow long outside the ruin garden to create a mini-meadow (as per your suggestion) to soften it. It is an experiment; when it grows out properly I'll post about it.

  2. Michael, I'll post some photos of the mini-meadows Dan Pearson designed in a lawn at The Old Rectory in Naunton, as soon as I can get it together to do that. You might find them interesting. Just two rather small meadow areas in a lawn with the swimming pool, one with apple trees, one without.

    1. Thanks, James. I haven't figured out exactly how I should do this one.
