Putnam Park in Late May

I was pleased that the weather had been cool and rainy while I was away. I was surprised to find tulips still blooming in the parks.

  1. I love the space so clearly defined by those chairs in the first photo. They appear to be light blue, playing with the colors of the camassias. Are they blue? And I'm really surprised to see camassias in bloom this late.

    1. James,
You forget New Hampshire is in the far, far North!!!! The chairs look blue, don't they--they are white. I remember Lynden Miller's garden was in a book and the called a white bench in her garden 'robin's egg blue". I think the same trickery with the lighting in the morning fog did the same thing here.
